René Sikkes, born in Rotterdam NL, is now living and working at Gelsenkirchen, Germany. After his apprenticeship as a photographer and his career as a computer scientist he found the connection of both occupations in the visual arts. In his pictures he examines the nestings of fiction and reality by means of model constructions.
